Do I call and ask?

I ordered a pair of shoes on Monday on the Walmart website. I really need them for my new job. I’ve checked multiple times over the last 36 hrs and nothing. It’s been delayed like this for a while now. I wonder if it’s because of the snow and ungodly freezing temps that is causing the delay but I can’t wait forever😫. Would it be fine to call and ask why it’s so delayed?

You ordered them in a holiday, it’s only been two days - if I were you, I’d cancel the order and buy in store if you need them ASAP!

Right now shipping delays are crazy. With covid and the weather there’s no telling when you’ll get anything. I’d buy in store if you can. I’d say if there’s been no update after a week you could call and ask but they’ll probably just tell you of the shipping delays everywhere is dealing with
