Anyone get pregnant while BF?...

Question

I’ve been getting my period since 3 months PP. my daughter is abt to be 9 months old and my husband and I feel ready to start trying for number 2. 
My plan was to BF my daughter thru her first bday but is that lessening my chances substantially for trying to get pregnant with number 2?

I got pregnant while breastfeeding and using condoms, so I didn’t have a problem with it 😬

Got pregnant at 10 mo pp on our first cycle not preventing after my first. My period came back at 6 mo pp. Got pregnant with my third at 15 mo pp on our third cycle not preventing after baby 2. My period came back at 5 mo pp.

We got pregnant again while breastfeeding and I was on the pill. I don’t think breastfeeding lessens your chances of getting pregnant.

I have PCOS, and had my first pp period at about 9 months. We weren’t trying and I fell pregnant when she was 18 months. Still nursing even though I was trying to wean when I became pregnant. 🙄

I’m 13 months postpartum today and still breastfeeding. Had my first light little period (more like spotting) last month. We did catch the first egg in December but that was a chemical so not sure if hormones impacted that as it was my first loss! My periods are irregular and longer than normal, took me 30 days to ovulate. I feel like if your periods are regular you may have an easier chance of getting pregnant?? I would love to start weaning feeds during the day in hopes of regulating things because we are so so ready for number 2
