Is this a bad lip tie?

I know nothing about lip ties. When I noticed it, I asked my kids pediatrician about it and he basically said don’t worry about it, she’ll bust it from falling or something in the next couple of years. (😳) Is it bad? It doesn’t seem to bother her and she definitely is eating well. Should I bring it up with their dentist or something at her first appointment in the future?

Lip ties often come with tongue ties which are the main issue with feeding. I would seek professional advice from a ped dentist!

My kids both seem to have lip ties. I personally have chosen to not do anything with them since they had no trouble nursing. However, I had to have my lip tie clipped when I was in 6th grade, so I did toss it around.. but opted out since I would have only been doing it due to the possibility of cosmetic concerns down
The road. I didn’t talk to a dentist though.

My first had one. At almost two she hit her face on the couch and it split. Lots of blood...a little pain. I’m assuming it was the reason she didn’t latch for breastfeeding.
