False positive?

I peed directly on a wondfo (ran out of disposable cups)

I covered the test window with my finger to make sure it didn’t get above the max line. I had a positive (not super dark but not too faint that I would question it being there) pop up within the time frame.

Would that be considered a false positive because I didn’t dip it? I’ve always dipped these and never even gotten evap lines before.
