Male infertility affecting my marriage.
My husband found out he has abnormal sperm, and since then it’s put such a strain on our relationship. To a point where I haven’t really processed it. He’s been distant, uninterested in sex. We go March 9th, for our infertility consultation and we’ve already talked about that. Even called the insurance company to know expected costs. But it’s just there’s been 0 intimacy since finding out and additionally he doesn’t want to talk about it. I’m ok with him not asking me how I feel about it right now. I just wish he’d talk about his feelings or what’s going on in his head. It’s only been a week so maybe time will heal us but our relationship is definitely not in the best place right now. I’m trying to be understanding, but anyone have advice on how to support him.
To add, he recently lost his job in December due to covid and is having such a hard time finding a new one. I’ve just been working two jobs while he’s taking care of my 7 year old. He’s getting unemployment so the arrangement works but I’m sure that’s adding to his emotional state.
