I literally used the dollar store ovulation tests when trying for my second and they worked well for me. I got pregnant that first month for both of my kids (for my first I wasn't tracking, just letting it happen on a weekend visit during my husband's work course). I might just be hyper-fertile, though and my periods are VERY on time.
