So this is my second babe, my older is 4. My older son I remember talking WAY more by now. I do remember being a bit worried he wasn’t saying enough words around this age but then he popped off around 21 months with sentences. I’m just a bit worried at this point, he was saying way more than my younger son, not to compare I’m just worried and that’s my main experience.

my younger son barely says mah mah mah as in mine it seems like, doesn’t refer to me as mama, doesnt try to say brothers name, doesn’t say dada at home(dad and I are separated, have been his whole life), he does say “wah wah” (water) “wooooooah” “hot” “tuck”(truck) “one two one go” (three two one go) and “go go”(gotta go) but mostly just SCREAMS. Doesn’t try to mimic at all, I’ll try to sound out words of foods or saying please but he will just scream and not even try. I remember my older mimicking me well/easily. . He signs please, more, all done, thank you & sorry. Should I be worried or does this sound ok? I’m mostly worried and sad about mama. Part of my wonders of my sons dad and fiancé are calling her mom and hes confused.

Also he throws his food, every meal. And nothing helps so far, I just have told him to stop or sign all done and if he keeps throwing I take him out. Any other tips? Another thing my older didn’t do lol.
