After a miscarriage in January 2020 and an ectopic in March 2020, our rainbow baby has finally arrived!

Liam arrived via scheduled repeat c-section at 1342 on 2/16 @ 39 weeks. He weighed in at 7 lbs 15.2 oz and 21" long.

He did come out with bruising on his face, chest, and arm due to being so low in my pelvis/birth canal. Doctor was surprised I hadn't gone into labor on my own yet with how low he was. He really had to pry him out of there. He said he should be fine though he is at higher risk for Jaundice due to the bruising but so far so good.

He is breastfeeding like a champ and pooping like one too lol 10 poopy diapers in the first 24 hrs. He is a happy baby!

This c-section has been easier pain wise than my emergency c-section but harder with nausea/ vomiting. Vomiting really doesn't feel great with an abdominal incision. But I am feeling much better now.
