Ivf induction

I am 35 weeks pregnant with <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">ivf</a> baby. Dr told me he will not let me pass 40 weeks since I did <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">ivf</a>. That we would induce if I wasn’t in labor by my 40 week mark . Is that normal ? I am confused. He did say something about risk of still birth an other things . Just wondering if anyone has had the same info given to them?
