Cold sore?

Hi ladies super random but I never really get cold sores ever. But right before I knew I was pregnant (found out on the 6th) I’ve had this patch of dry skin on my lips that just hasn’t gone away in fact I think it’s worse (even though it’s not really visible). It’s really annoying, itchy and doesn’t get better no matter how much water I drink and how much chapstick I apply and I want to know if anyone has experienced this?
