How soon after stopping breastfeeding did your period return?

I exclusively breastfed from birth but for a good while I reduced my son to one short morning feed as he is mainly drinking cows milk. I thought it'd come back since he wasn't feeding often but it didn't - I'm not complaining 😅 For the last 3 days, I've not breastfed but there's no sign of my period returning yet. Does anyone know when I should expect my cycles to regulate?

For me, it was at least a month...maybe even 2 months after I stopped nursing. I did not miss it at all. Lol

My milk just stopped out of no where when Asher was 4 months. I started my period very unexpectedly, at my best friends house and I was the best woman at his wedding. Talk about emotional shock from every direction 🤣

I never got my period but was taking ovulation tests because we wanted to try for another. I stopped breastfeeding at 12 months and ovulated almost exactly a month later! 
They sell cheap ovulation tests at Walmart that work great!
