Just seeing what other mommas are doing. We had a healthy ultrasound on Wednesday and I'm 9 weeks today. I have a meeting with my manager tomorrow about my application for a promotion. This promotion is for my own personal growth and I am not running against anyone, so the pregnancy would be no reason to deny my application. All 3 of my managers are women and 2 are mothers themselves. I think I would feel better giving the heads up before I officially apply, but I'm still nervous as its 3 or 4 weeks early. But like I said, our ultrasound went well and my doctor said there is a fairly low chance of miscarriage at this point. (He suggested between 5 and 10 percent, but closer to 5 percent). Has anyone else told their boss? Or when do you plan to? Advice appreciated. Also my husband is dying to announce. He wanted to announce before the ultrasound. We cant announce on social media until my employer knows because I have one of my managers on there.
