HCG tests???

Hi! I’m almost 5 weeks- had my first blood work today- 150 ish.. they did not seem so happy about this but I’m trying not to worry until I go back to see if they have doubled appropriately... anyone else have this experience? 150 seems to be in the range...

I tested 177 at 4 weeks 5 days and my doctor said that’s normal for early pregnancy since it was more than double from 2 days prior. As long as your count doubles it’s completely normal.

You may have ovulated late, implanted late or both. My numbers are high but I know I ovulated early (cd 12) and implanted early (6dpo, I had implantation cramping and tested positive 2 days later). Just wait to see your next number because that’s what will tell you how your baby is developing

One single hcg reading isn't very meaningful until you have another to see what the levels are doing. Good luck!
