Should I take a test?

I should have started my period today. I have had brown-ish discharge all day today. Is it too early to test? Should I in the morning? Thanks everyone!

If you're having brown spotting,  chances are high that is your period starting. Personally,  I'm not a test 'waster' and would just wait to see what happens in the next day or two. If nothing by Saturday, then I'd test. But that's just me
