Hi ladies!! We are almost there!! I just have a quick question. If this is your first or not & had your membranes swept how long after did you have your baby??

This is my second child I don’t think I had a sweep done with my first but it seems as like that these 2 are difficult & don’t want to come out. I’m currently 38 weeks exactly & had my membranes swept this morning. With my first I went 40 weeks & got induced on her due date & had her the next day.

I was just curious to your experience with sweeping.

Edit: thank you ladies for sharing. I get NST done 2 days a week, today(Friday) being one of those days. They saw no contractions as of yet :(. Yesterday when I did have my OBGYN check I was only a finger tip dilated & I was that way with my first until the day I induced. The nurse did tell me a few things I could do to help start labor. If this little is stubborn like her older sister I’ll probably be induced yet again at 40 weeks. So fingers crossed she comes by this week or my Doctor & I will be having the induction conversation on Wednesday.
