Pre-eclampsia Twice?

Question

Has anyone had pre-eclampsia twice? I developed it at the end of my first pregnancy.  I'm 9 weeks pregnant again and it's a big focus this time.  They did an ECG and I had abnormal results. I'm really worried it's going to come back and I won't be able to carry through all 3 trimesters safely. I have another appointment coming up in 2 weeks. Pretty sure they'll want to do more tests/ monitoring.  Anyone else have pre-eclampsia twice?

I heard after you have it once you have a higher chance of getting it again. I had gestational hypertension with my first and I’m expecting to get it again when I get pregnant

I developed it at the end of all of my pregnancies but was always under control until about 34 weeks with all of them. I’m healthy have a good body weight, exercise, nothing mattered. I’m glad they are monitoring you closely this time! And I don’t think it’s considered pre eclampsia until closer to delivery. If you have high blood pressure before they may treat it as such with meds

I just had my son January 4 , 21 I had preeclampsia at 35 weeks it was severe so I had to deliver they said if I get pregnant a second time ima have it again . Just watch what you eat and drink that where I messed up at

I did. I had it very mild with my first just slightly raised BP and swelling. The second time...it was bad. I developed HELLP syndrome. I had pre eclampsia with high protein in my urine. Was induced at 38+5. Two days later, I developed HELLP. From what I’ve read, HELLP is rare, though. Once I had it the first time, I was monitored a lot during the second pregnancy but It didn’t present itself until the very end.
