I started the transition from swaddle to sleep sack at 11 weeks old. We had a swaddle with removable arms so we took the arms off for a week and then switched him to a sleep sack. I wanted him to be fully transitioned by the time he started rolling which happened at 15 weeks. He’s almost 5 months now and still hasn’t rolled over in his sleep yet.

You can stop as early as you want, I stopped at 2/3 months and put my daughter in a sleep sack instead.
But you definitely shouldn't swaddle once they begin to roll.
