Has you lo gotten COVID?

My babygirl has had a on and off fever since Sunday, that’s the only thing, called her pediatrician and they suggesting she gets tested. noone in our home has had it or been exposed so we don’t think it could be! We never take her out since we have been having lots of snow storms in Minnesota can someone share their experience if your lo has tested positive?

Yes my son caught covid in November. He had a low fever for 2 days and a runny nose, cranky, sneezing for 3-4 days.

My husband and I got it from one of his coworkers. It was rough. The test is awful so per pediatricians instructions we just acted as though he had it too. He had a small fever one day and his owlet stated his o2 was under 85 one night but that was it. We took him to the ER after the owlet notified us 2 times of his oxygen and of course when we got there all his stats were fine lol. Anyway, idk if he had it but we just kept an eye on him & we were already quarantined because my husband and I had it. 
There’s not much they can do if your babe does have it. 
Hope this passes fast and hope it’s not COVID!

My daughter tested positive for covid when she was 11 months old. She only had a high fever for a day. Lots of snuggles, liquids, and baby Tylenol.

Yeah my daughter caught covid from my boyfriends mom. It started with a fever of 103 and a very mild cough. Lasted about 4-5 days. I had to give her motrin every 6 hours because her fever was always at 103 when the medicine wore off.

My daughter has been getting fevers from teething. She was sent home from daycare back in December and was required to get tested before returning. They did a nasal swab at the pediatrician. She obviously didn’t love it but they made it quick and it was over in a second. They performed a rapid test so we had results in 30 mins. It was negative.

Could it just be teething my Lil one always gets a slight fever right as his teeth are about to actually break thru . Seems unlikely to be covid if only symptoms is fever and no one else has been sick

Mine hasn't but they would have to do the nasal swab due to her are. You and anyone who lives in your house could go do the Vault spit test (free in MN) to ensure you don't have it. Seems unlikely that she would have it if you don't. Sort of a round about way to check but we've done that before rather than nasal swab baby.
