Is this a miscarriage??

I’m supposed to be 5 weeks and 6 days today. I went to the ER yesterday and the doctor said they couldn’t see anything in the ultrasounds because my hcg level is 585 and it was low, I have a follow up tomorrow but I can’t help to be worried about this bleeding. I’m not cramping or anything, just the blood.

At this stage it’s just light bleeding - a miscarriage is a lot more blood, but does it indicate one may occur? It’s hard to tell. Many women bleed and go on to have a healthy baby, others don’t.
Get them to track your hcg levels via blood tests and get an ultrasound

Unfortunately I’m going to go with more then likely it is. My doctor told me any bright red blood is cause for concern and if it’s that early it was probably a chemical pregnancy.

I had spotting last weekend only at night on Friday and Saturday. Then completely stopped. Last night I had a little hush red blood then brown afterwards with cramps on and off for a week. I have another US scheduled and I’m 6 weeks and 1 day. I would call to get an US girl.

Is this a miscarriage??
