Hello! I’m not sexually active and I’ve had hsv-1 since I was a child. This month however, I had one cold sore show up in the space between the corner of my upper and lower lip. It healed but two weeks later another one formed in that same spot. After that one healed, a larger cold sore showed up on my upper right lip accompanied by a tender swollen lymph node under my chin which turned painless and became smaller but is still there. Now just as this one is almost completely healed, I feel another one coming on the corner of my upper and lower lip, same spot as before. Does anyone have any clue what’s going on? The lymph node is something I’ve never experienced before with a cold sore before and I haven’t had them be this recurrent. 😕
