🌈 Baby
Hello pregnancy family!!
I would love to tell my story and keep a log of this pregnancy like I’ve done in the past.
This is our 4 pregnancy and we decided to keep it a secret just until we are out of our first trimester or until people start noticing.
Our first three pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and they were very hard to go through. One at 8 weeks, one at 11 weeks and 5 days and the last one was at 9 weeks. I don’t think we ever forget about our babies we lost or wonder what our life would be with them here. (FUN FACT: This pregnancy is the exact same due date as my second pregnancy. October 15, 2019 and now October 15, 2021.)
We tried for 5 months to get pregnant and I was starting to lose hope. Every month I would get sad when AF came to visit until she didn’t. I took a pregnancy test the day before my period and there it was. A very very faint line. I didn’t realize it was there and believed it was negative. (Why did I take it? I took it because I was very emotional the day before and bawled my eyes out over something that has been for more than ten years. There was no reason at all for me to cry like I did but I did.) I went back after the three minute mark and surly enough the line was there.
The next day I went and got another test. I wanted to be sure that was a true positive!! I also wanted one that said “pregnant” so I could truly see the words pregnant on the test. Call me silly I know. Surly enough it was two pink lines. I jumped up and down like I was a child again and got a toy I’ve always wanted. I was so excited filled with joy and all I could was smile. Is this finally our rainbow baby?
I told my boyfriend by making a onesie (picture bellowed) and giving it to him in a box. He was shock just as I was because I was spotting reddish pink a few days prior.
We are very excited but still afraid at the same time. I’d have to say it hits different with both parents wants a baby and they are planned. I’m proud to be one who will get to tell our child we planned you and wanted you! 💜
