4 year old acting out!

My 4 year olds teacher has been concerned about my son’s behavior because he talks back and doesn’t keep his body calm. He doesn’t listen at all to her and wants to make everything a joke. I took everything away from him and told him I’m the adult he’s the kid and he’s not allowed to say no or talk back but today he did it again to her. What should I do please help!
