When did you tell your family?

I’m a little over 8 weeks and have my first ultrasound on Wednesday! (February 24th). We haven’t told anyone yet but I’ve almost let it slip so many times to my mom and sister. I was curious, when did you all tell your family? Like parents and siblings. 
I waited until 11 weeks to tell family with my first baby but I’m getting so impatient I might just tell them after this ultrasound if all goes well lol

When I found out before 4 weeks.
Ivehad 3 miscarriages but I believe in celebrating the baby’s life with everyone no matter how long or short

With my first pregnancy we told our parents immediately (same week we found out), I was 4ish weeks. With my second pregnancy, which ended in miscarriage, we told our parents immediately again at 4 weeks. With this pregnancy we decided to wait a little longer, to get passed the hump from when I miscarried, and told them at 8w3d.

With my first, we told my parents straight away (they were trying to hook a holiday with us that we knew wouldn't be able to happen). In-laws, other family  and close friends were told at 12 weeks and then work was a couple of weeks after that. I don't do social media announcements. Second baby, for some reason I'm really anxious about telling anyone so I'm 11 weeks and keeping quiet for as long as possible 🤷‍♀️

I told my parents and in-laws after our first ultrasound around 6 weeks. Then we told siblings at 9 weeks after our first OB appointment.

I told my family right after I found out. It’s our first and we’re super excited but I wanted them to know just in case something did happen and we would have support.

I’m telling them after my next OB appointment. Only my husband and I know, we haven’t even told our almost 12 year old daughter. I’ll be going to my 12 week appointment on March 2nd.

We told our parents and our other 2 kids at around 7 weeks after we had our first ultrasound.
With our second we told everyone right away 🤷🏼‍♀️
But our kids are older this time around (my oldest was not even 2 yet with my 2nd) so I wanted to have the first ultrasound to make sure everything was okay before telling the kids

I told close family within a week of finding out - so around 5-6 weeks. Just so they are aware of what’s going on, and they can support me if needed! I won’t share publicly until probably around 13 weeks to make sure everything is OK.

Told our parents right away. Waited until after the viability scan at 8 weeks to tell siblings and a couple close friends. Will make our big announcement to everyone after the genetic screening at 12 weeks.
