Could I be pregnant or am I just getting old? 🥺
A little background, I’ve never been pregnant. We have been through several failed IUI’s many years ago. We have male factor infertility. I’d be lying if I said I had ever given up on getting pregnant, but we haven’t been actively trying either.
I just turned 40 four months ago. My periods have been very regular and I should have started a few days ago. I’ve had spotting all week (not enough for a pad) which I’ve never had before. My period starts light and gets heavier. I’ve never had only spotting. I’ve also been nauseous, had mild cramping (nothing like my period cramps) and a headache for days.
I’ve done some googling and it seems the odds are not in my favor for pregnancy. In fact, I’m wondering if it’s caused by peri menopause. I’ve had so many negative pregnancy tests I don’t want to look at another one 😕 I’m hoping someone has some experience or advice for me. I kind of feel like I’m losing my mind a bit. I flip flop back and forth about whether I’m pregnant or just getting older...
