Questions for Haakaa moms🍼

Question

First time using a Haakaa, would i be able to use it as a regular pump or is it to catch let down only? when i see people recommend it i see them say “to catch let down”.
also what would you recommend to store the milk in? 
should i take it to the hospital? if so which bottle do you recommend to feed the milk to baby in

I used it to catch letdown and stored in pre sanitized milk bags that I got from Walmart. Seems like every baby likes different bottles so that might take some trial and error. I didn’t take it to the hospital with me and that was fine because we were only there for a day and took about 4 days before my milk came in.

I also just put it on the opposite breast while feeding because milk would pour out of both when I fed her.

Yes it’s to catch the let down only. 
No, I didn’t take it to the hospital. It’s unlikely milk will come in that quickly. And I didn’t wanna have to deal with storing the milk that I saved. Breastmilk storage guidelines are very specific and I didn’t wanna deal with that at the hospital in addition to everything else.

I LOVE the haakaa! I have built quite a big freezer stash from the haakaa alone. I have only used my electric breast pump like 4 times.
