Who’s had a vbac??

Hey mommas. I’ve had one c-section and am a candidate for a VBAC (I didn’t have any risk factors that made me get my c-section, it was all just situational.) Ive been told there is a less than 1-2% riak with VBAC (concerning uterine rupture mainly). I’m scheduled for a c-section at 39&2. Anyone had a VBAC? What was your experience? Had a VBAC with my second and It was such a great experience. Went to 41 +3 days when my water broke and she was 10 lbs!

I’m hoping so much to have a vbac. Doctor said I could wait until 40 weeks.

Had a VBAC with my second. I was concerned about the rupture but it’s such a small percentage I decided to go for it. He came a month early and by the time I got to the hospital I was 8cm dilated and fully effaced (I hadn’t realized I was in labor because I was induced with my first prior to the csection). It was an unbelievably great experience and I told my husband immediately afterwards I could understand why people had more kids if it could be that easy. 😂 Also the recovery was so much easier! I literally cooked dinner two weeks later for some friends we had over.
I would never push someone to VBAC because I know how anxious I felt about making a decision that could potentially lead to my baby being hurt (uterine rupture) but I’m the end was comfortable with the really low percentage of that happening and had a wonderful experience. I’m planning for another VBAC this time.
