Am I an asshole for not letting my boyfriend use my car?

Long story short he’s been having car issues (car wont pass inspection, using his moms/friends/ my car/ car wont start etc) the whole relationship which is 3 years. I feel bad but at the same time I cant keep enabling him and I have a kid gotta take her to school i have to go to work. Not to mention hes not on the insurance

No you’re not, he’s a boyfriend, it doesn’t mean you have to lend him anything. If he’s not on the insurance and won’t get a better car he’s a liability and I wouldn’t risk that. You’ve got your own responsibilities to take care of, he’s not one of them.

No. He’s been borrowing other people’s cars for 3 years now? No I would not let him borrow my car.

Nope. He needs to get his act together. I wouldn’t let someone not on my insurance drive my car, and I don’t particularly care to try to coordinate schedules to share a car.
