anybody else??

Question

soooo, at my last appointment it was my anatomy scan , the doctor told me everything was looking great, and even confirmed with another doctor that everything was looking great as well, I didn’t have to come back at all being that they didn’t find a reason.. so I’m up late scrolling through my MyChart and I noticed there’s an appointment I never scheduled up there for a follow up on March 4th @3:30 mind you idek when they put this up because they never called me to confirm or anything just made the appointment. I will be exactly 24 weeks & 1 day that day so ... Now I’m all extra worried & anxious for Monday so I can call & ask them what’s up.. has this happened to anyone before??😣

It’s weird that they told you you wouldn’t need to go back. It’s pretty standard in the US to have monthly appointments until 28 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and weekly until baby is born.

I had my anatomy scan at 20 weeks then 24 weeks I have to go back for a quick check then the appointment after will be glucose test. Very normal, they probably just forgot to tell you about it.

Could be the appointment for your glucose test. I know I'm supposed to have mine sometime around then. I would think the doc would have called you of something was unusual, so I wouldn't stress. 
Also, yes, monthly (and more frequent the closer you get to due date) appointments are still necessary, even for a normal, healthy pregnancy.

It’s standard in the auS to have monthly appointments till 28 weeks (then every 2 then every week at 36week). 
If the appointment is that close to 4 weeks away from your anatomy i scan and last appointment it’s not a follow up because of the scan. Those are generally sooner. This sounds like a routine appointment. 
Maybe you booked out a lot when you first went in and sing remember.

I would think it was the scan part they were saying you wouldn’t need to do anymore. You will always continue prenatal appts through the pregnancy but if everything looks fine at the anatomy scan and nothing else pops up at any appts they want to take a look at them you wouldn’t have any more scans.
