Baby carrier for older babies?

Emily • 💙 06/06/2020

Henry has outgrown his previous baby carrier. We don’t use it that often, but have actually used it more lately, because of all the snow we aren’t able to use our stroller. Eventually we will definitely want a back carrier for when we go on hikes etc. I’m wondering if we should just buy the Ergo 360 carrier (can be worn 4 different ways- baby front facing in/out, side and back positions). It says you can use it until they are 45 pounds. Does anyone have this carrier and experience with the back position of it? Is it worth it or do you think I should just get a backpack style carrier instead?

I’m wondering the same thing! My son is obsessed with hair so I cringe at the thought of wearing him on my back

We love our ergo 360, we have used it from birth and now face our son outwards so he can look around which he prefers now he is older :)

So I had an ergo baby with my son but it really lacked lumbar support. For my June baby I bought a liliebaby all seasons and the back support insert has been phenomenal. I can wear my daughter all day! I highly recommend it, it’s worth the price. By the way, it is stiff when you first start using it but as you wash it, it becomes just stiff enough.
