Summer fun with baby?

Question

Anyone have any ideas of things you’re going to do over the summer with baby? We have a (will be) 3 year old son and I dont want to keep him stuck inside the whole summer but I was super crazy when he was a baby and didn’t go out in the heat lol so idk how to handle this summer. I really want to go to the pool and stuff I’m wondering if we have baby shaded and are only there for a little it would be ok.? Tell me your opinion and plans please 
Just fyi were in Pennsylvania so not far south where it gets super super hot lol.

Our son will be 2 next month, and I’m due 6/21 with a little girl.  We have a pool in our neighborhood that is generally pretty quiet during the day throughout the week. My hope is to go in the mornings, hopefully around nap time for baby so she can sleep in the stroller while I splash around with our son for a bit. They have a kiddy pool, so I’m hoping I can keep an eye on them both for short trips.

My son was 2 1/2 when my daughter was born May 2019 and we went to the pool, splash parks, walking, parks, played outside. I just stayed in the shade when I could and some times we were only there for a short while. It just depended on how hot it was. We also went camping when my daughter was 2 months old. 
When this baby comes in June, my son will be 4 1/2 and my daughter 2. We will continue to go out side to pools, splash parks, parks, zoo, etc. 
You just pay attention to the temp, sun, amount of shade. Each outing might just be a bit shorter. 
I also bought a stroller fan to keep air moving.

My daughter will be 3 roughly 2 months before this baby is born, we actually picked up a big outdoor play set today for the summer. This will help keep my daughter busy and give her something fun to do. My in laws have a pool and live 2 min from us. So we’ll definitely be going there regularly as well. We have a few zoos near us as well. 
My daughter will still go to daycare while I’m on maternity leave so during the day plenty of walks and spending time in the backyard with our dogs so long as it’s not too hot. Plus a walk sometimes after picking my daughter up from daycare so she can join in.

I’m in the same boat. My daughter will be 4, almost 5, when my son is born in early June. She was born in October, so I have no idea what I’ll do during the summer with a baby lol. I’m planning on buying a beach tent, and we have a battery powered stroller fan, so maybe we’ll spend some days at the beach. Depending on Covid, I’d love to go on different day trips, walk around and stuff. We live in MA, so summers can get super hot between upper 80s and mid 90s in degrees.

Yes! We plan to do lots of summer activities. We live near a few different smaller cities with shops and stuff to do that would be easy and low key with a baby. I plan to baby wear him and I too have a 2 almost 3 year old by the time baby arrives!!
Going to go on lots of walks with baby. (Need to figure out the double stroller thing though) lol we will have a kitty pool and a sprinkler set up on our back pull for my toddler and While he plays I Will sit in the shade with baby.
Also olan to do a few visits up to my family. They live in KC so there’s always lots of low key fun stuff to do with them. Maybe visit the zoo, go to the pet store, parks etc.

In same boat my daughter will be 3 and trying to figure out what to do depending on how COVID is here in NJ the past three summers we did Airbnb down in LBI or cape May and did one in the finger lakes. My husband isn’t interested in staying anywhere with the baby so probably lots of day trips to the beach, zoo, pool boardwalk and probably go really early

I took my daughter swimming last August when she was only 4 months and I was just big with sunscreen and had her in a shaded floaty and I plan to do that a few times this year. Plus I want to take her to the park
