Does anyone know if having a doctor check your cervix to make sure it's not dilating (i.e. try to stick his/her finger inside it) can actually cause it to start dilating? My doctor did this today (and my cervix was fine), but it kind of hurt and was uncomfortable. And now I'm concerned.
