It’s been bugging me. Am I having twins?

There is a very limited window as to when I could have conceived. The fetal measurements from my 7 week ultrasound are spot on. In the image below, I’m 7 wks, 1 day.

At that ultrasound, the doc did not review my hcg levels but

my 4 week, 1 day hcg was 708 and my 5 week, 1 day hcg was 8550.

The doc only saw one fetus with a heartbeat. He was also rushed and the image is very low definition.

I’m 37 and my partner is also a 50+ first-time dad. Trisomies do not run in the family, but I know that the likelihood increases with age. Hoping that’s not the case.

But, I’m also seeing multiple yolk sacs. Does anyone else see it? And what’s that smaller dark circle above the baby?

This is so crazy. I never, ever wanted to be a mom. We certainly weren’t trying. Then poof, this happened. I feel like I went to Starbucks for an Americano but I left with a free Caramel frappe and some cookies. Like, major surprise lucky day upgrade. :) My life is always a little unusual, so having multiples would be the kind of crazy thing that would happen to me.
