Doxycycline ?

Has anyone taken doxycycline while pregnant? I'm in the first trimester still .. I'm 8 weeks 1 day and I have a cervical infection that I have had sense before I got pregnant well my doctor put me on doxycycline (before I got pregnant) and then I found out a week later I was pregnant so he said to stop taking it.. But I had a miscarriage in July due to my cervical infection so I'm afraid if I stop taking the doxycycline that the infection will get worse and I'll lose another baby ..
