How to get longer hair?

I have looked up a couple tricks and I have tried them but they don't work that well for me, I am patient and don't need long hair ASAP or anything I'm just curious as to what you guys do to make your hair longer!!!!

If you trim your ends once and then keep your hair natural, just braiding it and keeping it moisturized and healthy, using leave in conditioner every other day and argan Oil, grape seed oil, coconut oil, aloe if you want, no dying, no heat, taking vitamins, biotin pills.. You're hair grows best faster in its natural state.. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately as far as I know, there aren't any methods that are scientifically proven to make your hair grow faster. However, there are methods that can help improve the overall health of your hair and that can give the appearance of thicker or faster growing hair. A few of my favorites include:

• drinking water
• massaging scalp (use fingertips not nails)
• reduced use of heating tools
• biotin capsules

You could also apply coconut oil to the ends of your hair and keep it in overnight to help hydrate and smooth the texture of the hair. I recommend getting a 1/2in to a full 1in every couple of months to get rid of split ends. I use a Turbie Twist hair towel for my wet hair. It's made from a microfiber material so it's more gentle of the hair than cotton. Also, reducing the amount of times you wash your hair during the week will help to keep the natural oils on your scalp from being stripped too often. 
If all else fails or you're looking for instant/faster results, you can always look into purchasing hair extensions.

I trim the ends and braid my hair, its growing very well. Massaging my scalp too. My son randomly yanks my hair every day, maybe that was helping too because it just recently started growing longer..
