Hard time
Is anyone having a hard time with having everyone understand how you feel? Like totally disregarding what you want for your baby and just being mad?
MIL is being so difficult, and I try to work with the whole family, I originally wanted one month after the baby to develop a schedule, learn to breastfeed, seek help (PPD,PPA), work around dogs and hubby as it can take a strain out, in addition our baby is gonna be here when I’m 38 weeks and I feel we should wait to make sure she is ok; well no one including my hubby thought that was fair.... so we compromised and said we’ll wait one week, then do grandparents, and everyone else after, in 30min increments so I can still have time to myself. WELL apparently that’s too long and unfair to the MIL, and it’s so frustrating because she is the only person who hasn’t been fine with anything we do, even when hubby tells her awe we’ll and to back off, she talks about me behind my back, like it’s so awful how he can say to bug off and she is the only person out of like 60 family members who has a problem, I need some advice. I never thought I’d have this problem when I finally had my baby, and it’s frustrating because I really just want everyone to understand the baby is not a toy or for show and tell, she’s something we’ve waited for 2 years and someone we want to shower with love, just as everyone else wants, but to rush a mom like that I feel is just unfair...
Rant done 🤦♀️
