So my baby was diagnosed with dandy walker syndrome & heart defect (which a pediatric cardiologist already told us a one time surgery would be needed) at the beginning of feb no one has given us a second opinion about his brain until today I have a high risk appointment at a children’s hospital where they will look at him. I asked my ob how sure she was about it being dandy walker she said the baby has extra fluid in his brain a little more than normal and I hope and pray for good news today that some how the gestational diabetes doc messed up or that a miracle could happen today... I’m scared to go the appointment because I don’t want them to tell me it is dandy walker... I will love my baby regardless but it’s just something that happened out of nowhere like everything was going good up until the gestational diabetes doc pointed it out at 31 weeks. nipt came back normal and I’m hoping to get an amniocentesis for clear answers. Just please pray for us to be strong for whatever news we might get today 🙏..
