So we just confirmed (with blood work) I am going through a miscarriage. My doctor has been less then helpful.. here are my details.. if anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

*I started spotting Wednesday night and it has progressively gotten heavier since. We are now at a full period flow.

*received confirmation today, that my hcg levels have dropped significantly, confirming said miscarriage.

Here are my questions:

How long will I bleed?

Can I start using a tampon? Or continue using pads?

Can we have intercourse? Or how long should we wait?

How long until we can start trying again?

Should we be using protection until said time?

Any help or advice is appreciated.

*yes I’m looking for a new doctor because mine has been less than empathetic during this process and is failing to write me back in my health account (because I’ve still never actually spoken to her through this)
