Hey there, I'm amber, I'm 27 years old, and trying this whole baby making deal out again and looking for cycle buddies to cheer on!

I started ttc back in 2018, using a sperm donor, but due to pcos and my weight, was unsuccessful after 5 very expensive and exhausting attempts. In 2019 I decided to take a break and focus on my health, and started taking metformin to treat my pcos and lost about 50lbs, making progress but still not enough to help my fertility. Finally in 2020 I had weight loss surgery, and I'm 40lbs away from being at a healthy bmi, and my pcos is not gone, I wouldn't say, but very well managed, and I have a regular cycle without relying on medication anymore!

The past few cycles I have just been tracking my actual cycle but I have a buttload of opks and a bbt thermometer coming in the mail today so I can really track this thing down to the very last detail, lol! I'm only tracking my cycle for now, because I want to pinpoint the exact timeline of my cycle, and I intend to start up with inseminations again in June!

Obviously our stories don't need to be similar, and very likely won't be, but I just wanted to share a bit about me since this process is a little different for me then it is for others lol!
