2 years + 4 mo. Not talking

He’ll say a few words and knows some animal sounds, but he’s very very vocal in his own language constantly all day. Hasn’t been around other children since last year cause of pandemic and we aren’t geographically close to young family members.

His ped said last month that we’d check back at 2.5 years old (2 months from now) and go from there.

Worrying me like crazy. Every other kid I see online even younger is talking. He has zero red flags and has great hearing. Idk feeling discouraged

I’m a stay at home mom too and he’s my only one, pregnant with #2 due in September
