So I rent this house and have been in it for more than a year. We had a freeze in Texas which caused water pressure to be low which in return caused some minor plumbing issues. I called the landlord because its not actually my house to notify her. She usually asks us to handle whatever on our own and or pay for the services. She got someone out 2 times and claimed she spent over 500 in a week here. I never had a issue paying anything and wasnt asked to this time. This is the first time ive ever had a issue with anything. The morning after the toilets were fixed my washing machine drainage was overflowing. I called her to inform her and she said she was sending someone over and hung up in my face. So it came off as very unprofessional to me and i stated that to her and personally felt like her anger was misdirected. Also told her I would get someone to fix it so she wouldnt have to. She sent someone anyway. After that she texted me and told me she wanted to write up a 30 day release form indicating she didnt want me renting the home anymore. Ok fine didnt argue with her. I get on rent listings and the home is already posted. In my eyes thats a huge safety risk for me and my children any stranger could be in my yard peeking now. So i text her and give her the results of the person that came because this is a brand new washer and they said its the drainage system outside. I also tell her its a safety risk for the home to be up and no papers are signed. She then tells me that she posted the home because i stated i was moving. Never said that only she indicated this. She then tells me she isnt kicking me out and to make a decision and that i could stay if i wanted to. ATP i dont wanna stay she doesnt seem like she is in sound mind she posted the home in less than 24 hours. Im not getting why the sudden change with her. She didnt even provide a stove washing machine refrigerator or even pest control we take care of it all. This is just so weird to me.
