How does it feel when water breaks?

I’m 33 weeks and I was wondering how will I know when my water breaks, are you able to hold in it like you do with pee or does it all just come out without control?

It’s been 2 years since mine broke but I remember it felt like a bubbly pop, maybe similar to gas??, and all the sudden the floor was wet. It didn’t hurt at all.. it actually gave me some adrenaline and euphoria or something lol. I was shocked but I had no pain for an hour and was able to gather up all the stuff I needed. Contractions came very strong though.. so be prepared for more intense contractions vs water not breaking first!

The hospital broke mine when I was in labor since  it didn't break on its own and that was the worst pain of my life I screamed so loud

I felt a contraction for the first time ever and as soon as I realized it was one, I felt and heard a “pop”. I leaked my water. It wasn’t a big gush! Went into labor and delivery within the hour and already was at a 6! Contractions were intense within the hour too.

For me it happened while in labour, I was throwing up and I honestly thought i peed myself from puking so hard well it was my water my son was born 40 mins later

For me I had JUST gone to the bathroom and walked across the hall when I felt like I just peed myself again. I went back to the bathroom and it kept coming out every few seconds in little gushes. I had to put on a pad and it filled up pretty fast in the 40 min drive to the hospital haha

It comes out, but not always all at once. Mine was a pee amount, and even in the toilet (bc every time I contracted, I really thought I was gonna shit my pants lol) so I wasn’t sure if it was even my water until I got to the hospital and they told me my water broke lol I had a few big gushes after that while I was picking
