When do you plan on telling people outside of your husband?

I am an extremely private person. M going to tell everyone else after my gender scan . Sounds extreme? I dont think so. Nobody else is that important enough to know, ur just inviting other people opinions in. Especially when its not wanted.

At least until 10 weeks, when I feel like I am out of the danger zone hopefully for Easter🤗 due November 2nd! My first was born November 4th 2018!

I don’t plan on telling my kids until 8-10 weeks followed with a big photo shoot by 12 weeks to announce to every one else. After my miscarriage in October, I am being extremely cautious, but also optimistic. I’m a private person and don’t need anyone else mourning or feeling terrible if things shall go south between now and then. I can totally understand those who have a solid support system! I really want to shout it out from the rooftops buttttt I’m not even 4 weeks pregnant yet lol 😂
I had an early loss last august, so I am waiting until 6 or 7 weeks to tell our kids, and our parents. The rest probably on Easter 🐣 
I don’t think I can wait until second trimester, due to my roles (job and volunteering) being demanding. Plus my kids can be rowdy so i would like them to understand that mom doesn’t have as much energy and needs to be careful for the baby 🤗

I told my best friend who is also pregnant and my boyfriend this morning that I got a faint positive. 
With my first pregnancy, I announced at like 6 weeks
My second which ended in mc, i told a few of my friends and family when I got my positive but it ended days after finding out and it was even harder to tell them I wasn’t pregnant anymore
I wanna be pretty low key with this pregnancy and not announce until 20 weeks or later. Maybe not even at all

I told my parents and sister as soon as I found out I was pregnant last year. Unfortunately, it ended in a miscarriage but they were super supportive when I needed it. I kinda want to tell them now but I may wait until after our first appointment.

I tell family and my nearest and dearest friends first. If something doesn’t pan out as planned I need support. I then do a social media blast at six months. Also since I’m a staff nurse in the hospital, coworkers find out early. Especially now with COVID, I’d rather not work with those patients.

We told everyone right away last time. Pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. This time we are waiting until 12-13 weeks to tell everyone. We have only told our mothers & my husband’s childhood best friend so far. Waiting to tell everyone else.
Keeping it secret for a while not because I feel embarrassed I told so early last time, but because in a way I felt bad for how excited everyone got, only for them to be disappointed a few weeks later.

We will probably tell parents and siblings after first scan. Then announce for reals to the world around 12-15 weeks. I have a history of miscarriages but am also a pretty private person and only mentioned after the fact to others in our family.
