Burning feeling?😳

Hi. Ive noticed that while having sex with a condom i feel like my vagina is burning and it hurts really bad. But since im on bc i sometimes have sex without the condom and there is no burning and sex is enjoyable. Is this just me? Or the condom im using? I would really like to use condoms while having sex just to take extra precautions but the condom just makes me not want to have sex at all
