When life turns upside down

So I walked in this morning to work and I was told that I'm being let go as they do not need another person. The business is not growing and this is a business decision. We were actively trying for baby as I wanted to go on mat leave knowing I can come back to work. My period is due December 4 and the test is negative. And I'm hoping I get my period as I just lost my job and my health insurance. I'm sitting at home thinking why me ??
