Feeding a 12 month old?

My daughter is turning one March 1st. I recently was at a friends who said her son has been off of formula since just before 12 months. Completely.
I know it’s time to start thinking about transitioning to whole milk. I’ve already started to make her bottles with a bit of milk here & there. But I guess I’m confused. Normally we wake up & the first thing I do is make a bottle, I offer real breakfast with in a half hour to an hour. Should she eventually be getting a bottle of regular whole milk once I wean her off the formula? Or just go straight to regular breakfast with some regular milk on the side? 
I’m at a loss🤣 what do you feed your 1 year old at 8 am when you’re not used to being a chef in the kitchen. I don’t mind at all, but I feel im already running out of ideas. You can only give so many eggs, pancakes, fruit, bread, etc.
This is my first so I literally have no idea what this feeding routine is supposed to resemble at this age😅

At 1 we totally quit the bottle and just offered milk in a sippy cup with each meal. If it makes you feel better you can just cut down on the bottles slowly but it was easier for us to just rip the bandaid.

If I am not mistaken. You should start offering milk without a bottle. Using cups also to wan from a bottle.

Once they turn 1, they should be eating three meals and two snacks a day. Milk should only be a source of hydration with meals, and water should be offered in between meals.

My daughter wouldn't drink straight whole milk so we transitioned her from formula to whole milk slowly but mixing her bottles with part formula and milk until it was all whole milk.
Once she was use to milk we switched her bottles to sippy cups then eventually small cups

I stated introducing my girls to a sippy cup at 6.5 months. But they still used a bottle mostly. It wasn’t until 9.5 months that I took them completely off the bottle and had them drinking a sippy. I also did half formula and half whole milk by 10 months. At a year old they switched completely.

We did milk in bottles right at wake up and breakfast an hour later until 15 months. At 15 months we cut the bottle out cold Turkey and then my son refused milk all together! Would drink water out of a sippy cup or regular cup but not milk. It was so strange. He’s 19 months and still doesn’t drink milk. Just eats breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner. Lots of water during the day. Waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, fruits, toast, English muffins, Honey Nut Cheerios, bacon, sausage. Hope this helps!

Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fruit, .. pretty much anything you eat for breakfast in smaller portions with a side of milk in a cup :)

Once we switched to cows milk she got a cup of it when she woke up for the morning and from her nap, and water the rest of the day including meals. They shouldn’t get more than 24oz of dairy in a day (total dairy, so milk, cheese, yogurt, etc) so she has always gotten about 8oz of milk when she first wakes, and then 5-8oz after her nap. I wouldn’t put it in a bottle, I’d eliminate the bottle and switch to a sippy.

We offered milk in a sippy starting at 1. Cut out bottles completely. We do cheerios, blueberries, grapes, oatmeal, apple sauce, fruit cups (like oranges or peaches) or mini eggo pancakes for breastfast. Im not a chef either and I work early. So cereal, cutting up fruit or oatmeal is usually our options.

I did whole milk in a bottle first thing until she was 16 months, then breakfast a half hour later. Then I transitioned to a sippy cup instead of the bottle. She is 18m now, she still drinks her milk when she first wakes up and it gives me a bit of time to get her breakfast together 🤷🏼‍♀️
