anyone stopping breastfeeding?

I have always supplemented.  Since my baby started solids at 4 1/2 months she loves food and now has three meals a day plus her bottle. in the last month i have only nursed first thing in the morning and before bed ... but lately she’s been not interested.  I’m not producing much fatty milk and considering stopping.   Anyone have experience stopping at this age? How long did it take your body to stop producing?  Any regrets?

My daughter decided at 6 months she’d had enough of me I guess and started refusing to nurse most times ( I’d been pumping in the evenings for a small freezer supply in addition). She essentially weaned herself. She’s just shy of 7 months now and I started out pumping 6-7 times then slowly reduced it every few days and now I only use a manual pump when I feel super sore which is every day and a bit but I only take the edge off and now prompt more milk. I’ve heard cabbage leafs work??

I formula feed daytime. Baby is nursed bedtime and in the night. I just find it easier to nurse her to sleep right now.

I've never had a straightforward breastfeeding experience. My son wasn't gaining weight properly and we slowly started adding more bottles and my supply just dropped in return until I wasn't producing anymore. I really had wanted to go to a year but my body just isn't made for breastfeeding I guess.
