Is your babe a biter?

My 15 month old has recently started to try biting me. I believe it’s a mixture of teething and seeing my reaction. When I tell him no biting he just laughs at me and try’s again. He’s never actually bitten me before I stop him. How are others preventing your child from being a biter?

UPDATE: So I’m relieved to say that I realized he’s just playing and that’s why he’d giggle after and think it’s funny. As I mentioned above I never actually let him bite before I’d stop him and say no. So I decided to let him do it and see what he’s trying to get out of it. He never bit hard enough to even hurt. I realized that when I tickle him and give him raspberries I “nibble” him in order to tickle him and I believe this is what he’s trying to do 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol poor baby

Yes she went through a phase ☝🏻
We very firmly told her off. She eventually bit me 3-4 times. She did it while smiling in a happy mood, never because she was upset so it’s just something she had to learn was not acceptable.

My daughter will kiss me and than her too excited and bite, she has bitten me once and omg it left a huge mark, all from just trying to kiss me. I just pull her away right away and try to say no and act like I’m crying and than she kind of gets it. She hasn’t done it in a while so I’m thinking she knows that it hurt me.

Mine every once in awhile gets really excited and she will try. I tell her no biting and usually I am able to move before she gets me. She only does it to me. She also gives the sweetest kisses but also only to me so 🤷🏼‍♀️

No a biter but a hitter. He throws stuff and hits lately. He laughs at anything I do. I try to be consistent and I tel him no we don’t hit mommy and then I put him on the floor. That has seemed to make the most impact. Sometimes he will throw a huge fit once I put him on the floor but I’d rather him do that that laugh. I then tell him once he calms down mommy will pick him back up.
