Change Pad

I just want this known in the universe somewhere When I was expecting my son my mother in law kept asking me what I needed for him. I told her repeatedly that the only thing I needed and wanted was a change pad for the top of his dresser so he’d have something padded to lay on for diaper changes. My shower came and went (she didn’t come) and she continued to ask me what I wanted. I told her again repeatedly the only thing left was a change pad. Again she told me how stupid it was and what a waste of money he would only use it for a month or 2 until he started rolling over. After opening her gift of several hundred dollars worth of blankets that I didn’t need I bought myself a change pad and I just wanted the universe to know that I just changed the my third diaper of the day on that change pad. He’s 16 months. I may be a little bitter but my point is - mammas - if you want it and think you’ll use it. Buy It! Whatever it is. That’s all.
