I'm 6 weeks PP and doing a combo of breastfeeding, pumping when I'm at work, and formula because baby needs to increase weight.

Is it normal to start my period this early after giving birth? I thought it was supposed to be later if you're breastfeeding? I bled for about 3 weeks PP , then it went away and now I'm pretty certain it's a period. Very crampy and exhausted. Not sure what to expect for the first period after giving birth.

Also had a horrid migraine type pain in the back of my head that shot down to my neck and shoulder area. Lead to a dizzy spell. Hasn't happened since but what the heck ? I had an epidural and have chronic back issues but didn't really have any weird stuff happen like this until this instance. Not too worried though since it was a one time thing but curious if anyone has any input
