I just began taking Cymbalta (an antidepressant) , but Sunday (2/21) I was showering with my boyfriend as I blacked out and had a huge health scare. My hearing was shallow, I was shaky, nauseous, and confused. I couldn’t see, and this episode lasted about 20 minutes. My boyfriend had to wrap me in my towel, and carry me to the couch as I went limp and blacked out again. I had an episode not as extreme on tuesday as well. I have talked to my doctor (so don’t worry about that) we’re getting me off the med because that’s when it began becoming a trigger. It’s not because of the heat, my showers haven’t been too hot since it’s been happening. But i’m just hoping it stops because I don’t want this to continue happening. If it does I have to get a bunch of testing done to see what’s actually triggering it. But i’m genuinely scared to shower 😩. Cause I don’t want it to continue happening, especially not extreme again.
